• Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. After establishment, water deeply and infrequently (about 1 inch of water per week)
• Maintenance: Monitor for pest and disease problems, and treat as needed
• Pruning: Prune after flowering to shape the plant and remove any spent blooms. For rejuvenation, prune back up to one-third of the oldest stems to the ground every 2-3 years. Avoid heavy pruning in late summer or fall, as this can stimulate new growth that may not have time to harden off before winter
• (Optional):Fertilize using a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring before new growth emerges. Avoid fertilizing after mid-summer to prevent new growth that may not harden off before winter.

Planting trees or plants is easy! First, begin by digging a hole that's twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the tree or plant in the hole and add some bonemeal fertilizer. Backfill with fresh soil if needed and water thoroughly. Water regularly until roots are established to keep the plant healthy. Enjoy your new tree or plant!
