Our story starts back in the early 2000s, when our family started a local garden centre from the ground up in Barrie, Ontario. Over the years we connected with our local community by adding a personal touch to their shopping experience and truly listening to our customers to build lasting relationships and trust with our brand. We found that customers were looking for the freshest and fullest plants with new selection each week, something that wasn’t as accessible with your average nurseries, which sparked the idea of creating the next generation Landscape Direct.
Beginning as a homegrown company founded on family, friendship, and genuine values - brothers Blake and Evan Patterson and their close friend Conner Krofchick re-imagined garden centres of the future and took plants and the gardening community to a larger scale on a new unique level. The core values that the local family garden centre carried in their business is now rooted in the creation of Landscape Direct, carrying on from its early stages to its current and continuously growing success as Canada’s #1 Online Garden Centre.
