DESCRIPTION

'Passion' is a hybrid dianthus variety known for its rich fragrance and showy blooms. It is a compact, mat-forming plant that produces large, double flowers in a range of shades including pink, red, and white. The plant is easy to care for and is ideal for use in rock gardens, container gardens, and as a border plant. It typically blooms in the late spring to early summer and is a popular choice for adding fragrance to the garden.

Care Guide

  • Watering: Water the plant when the top inch of soil is dry.
  • Maintenance: Remove spent blooms to encourage reblooming. Remove yellowed leaves to maintain a neat appearance.
  • Pruning: Prune back the entire plant by about one-third in late fall or early spring
  • Fertilizer: Fertilize the plant in spring, before new growth begins. (Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer).
