Purple Phlox

• Watering: Purple Phlox plants prefer consistent moisture in their soil, but be sure not to overwater. Water the plant when the soil feels dry to the touch, usually 1-2 times a week.
• Maintenance: Remove any dead or diseased stems, leaves, and flowers regularly.
• Pruning: In-season, deadhead spent flowers by pinching them off at their base. Cut back the plant by 1/3 after flowering to encourage a second bloom. In late fall or early spring, cut the entire plant down to the ground to promote healthy growth in the following season.
• (Optional):Fertilize the plant in the spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer.

Planting trees or plants is easy! First, begin by digging a hole that's twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the tree or plant in the hole and add some bonemeal fertilizer. Backfill with fresh soil if needed and water thoroughly. Water regularly until roots are established to keep the plant healthy. Enjoy your new tree or plant!
