Planting 4" potted herbs and vegetables is a straightforward way to enhance your garden. Select varieties like basil, parsley, tomatoes, and lettuce that thrive in your climate. Ensure they're planted in a sunny spot, whether in containers, raised beds, or directly in the ground. Carefully remove the plants from their pots, place them in slightly larger holes, and fill in with soil, pressing down lightly. Water thoroughly and maintain consistent soil moisture, preferably watering in the early morning. Keep an eye out for pests and diseases, use organic control methods, and remove weeds promptly. Harvest herbs by trimming leaves as needed and pick vegetables at peak ripeness. This approach is ideal for a productive and flavorful garden.
