Consistent watering is key to prevent blossom end rot—aim for at least 1 inch of water per week, more in hot weather. Tomatoes benefit from regular feeding once they start to set fruit. Provide support with cages or stakes, and prune as necessary to encourage air circulation and reduce disease risk. Monitor for tomato hornworms and other pests.
