• Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Afterward, water deeply and less frequently, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings
• Maintenance: Deadhead regularly throughout the growing season to encourage more blooms. Watch for signs of pests and diseases, such as spider mites, powdery mildew, and leaf spots, and treat as needed
• Pruning: Cut the plant back to about a third of its height in late fall or early winter to prevent winter damage and encourage strong growth in the spring
• (Optional): Fertilize in the spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer, following the package instructions

Planting trees or plants is easy! First, begin by digging a hole that's twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the tree or plant in the hole and add some bonemeal fertilizer. Backfill with fresh soil if needed and water thoroughly. Water regularly until roots are established to keep the plant healthy. Enjoy your new tree or plant!
