Description

Hello! I am an Original Bigleaf Hydrangea, best known for my spectacular deep pink or blue flowers which stay in beautiful bloom all summer. I require minimal upkeep, and should only be pruned after I am done flowering to make sure none of my current season's flowers are removed. I am not particular to soil type, but the soil that I'm planted in has an impact on what colour my flowers bloom - I prefer acidic soils, and my deep pink flowers turn a lovely shade of blue when planted in this type of soil. I am happiest, healthiest and most beautiful when I am grown in lots of sun, and my soil is moist and well drained!
