Green Giant Cedar, or Thuja standishii x plicata 'Green Giant,' thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Water regularly to establish a strong root system. Prune as needed to control its size. This cedar variety is known for its rapid growth, tall, columnar shape, and vibrant green foliage, making it an excellent choice for creating privacy screens or windbreaks. -
Prepare an appropriate hole
Choose a pot that is 1-2 times larger than the current pot, ensuring there is adequent drainage to prevent waterlogging roots. Plan on repotting every 3-5 years. -
