Young trees benefit from deep watering once a week during the growing season for the first 2-3 years to encourage a healthy, deep root system. Established trees generally need water only during prolonged dry periods, usually every 2-4 weeks. When watering trees, focus on the drip lineÑthe area under the canopyÕs edgeÑand use a slow drip method, such as a soaker hose, to ensure the water soaks deeply into the soil.

Planting trees or plants is easy! First, begin by digging a hole that's twice as wide as the root ball and just as deep. Place the tree or plant in the hole and add some bonemeal fertilizer. Backfill with fresh soil if needed and water thoroughly. Water regularly until roots are established to keep the plant healthy. Enjoy your new tree or plant!
