Rose Glow Japanese Barberry

Hi! My name is Rose Glow Japanese Barberry, and I am best known for my vibrant pink and purple variegated foliage, and my ability to add a shock of color contrast to your garden or landscape. Not only is my foliage breathtaking, I am also very proud of my ornamental fruit - showy scarlet fruit which I grow in abundance from early to late fall. If this wasn't enough, I also like to show off tiny clusters of yellow flowers that bloom from my branches in mid spring. No matter the season, you can count on me to bring lots of life and color to your garden. I require occasional maintenance, but as long as I am pruned occasionally and never left in standing water, I will be a very happy shrub. I thrive in any type of soil and I am very tolerant of urban pollution - you can plant me right in the city! I am happiest, healthiest and most beautiful when I am grown in lots of sunlight and my soil is kept moist and well drained.
