Hi! I am a Visions in White Chinese Astilbe, best known for my tall plumes of white lavender flowers and glossy leaves, which add elegant detail to a garden. Not only am I visually beautiful, I also have a talent for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden. I am relatively low maintenance, but can be fussy about my soil - my perfect home has soil that is rich and acidic, since my beautiful leaves have a habit of turning yellow in alkaline soils. I am happiest, healthiest and most beautiful when I am planted in groupings, given lots of shade, and watered often.
