This dogwood variety is commonly used for erosion control, hedges, or mass plantings in wetland gardens and naturalized areas.

Care Guide

Yellowtwig Dogwood thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Adequate watering is crucial, especially during dry periods, to maintain soil moisture. Pruning can be done to shape the plant and remove any dead or overcrowded branches. This dogwood variety features bright yellow branches, adding winter interest and color to the garden. It is suitable for mixed borders, naturalized areas, or as a focal point. Proper spacing allows for good air circulation. Adequate mulching helps retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
